Query
Does anyone out there actually enjoy Clint Eastwood movies? I don't care how "good" they are. I'd see Wimbledon over Million Dollar Baby or Flag of Our Fathers any day.

Oh, absolutely not...well except for Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. But do spare yourself the wave of nausea evoked by a shirtless Eastwood in Blood Work. I barely suppressed the simultaneous laugh and the ill-feeling in my stomach.
I liked Unforgiven and Bird (I know it's a jazz biopic, but it's very well-made). Million Dollar Baby really bothered me and I didn't think it was nearly as good as, say, The Aviator.
I'm a Ph.D. candidate in musicology, living in Los Angeles. My partner lives in the eponymous Barnet, a suburban part of North London. We do a lot of traveling back and forth. That's why it's called Barnet Bound, see? Here you will find writing on music, my cats, strange British culture, politics, Los Angeles, and the perils of writing a dissertation.
